City of Maetossa - 2 Viewing Maetossa is the capital city of Maetossa. Named after the country itself, this city is more like an impenetrable fortress. After the old capital of Resheniya fell they decided to triple the height and width of the walls surrounding the city. You can't even see any normal buildings from outside of the walls. The only thing visible from the outside of the city is the very top of the Royal Palace. Sub-boards: Commons Block, Academi, The Cathedral of Validus Res, The Royal Palace |

City of Fasen - 2 Viewing The city of Fasen is the second largest city in Maetossa. It was the largest city until the new capital was founded and everybody moved in for the safety that the huge walls provided from the outside. Once people could no longer move into the capital though they turned to Fasen. Fasen used to be a pretty nice city, but over the last couple hundred of years it's become disgusting. In this city, if you're not sick then you're probably dead. The city is practically one huge ghetto except for the royal district, but even that is starting to look worn down. Vyasen - 2 Viewing Vyasen is the largest of all the farming villages. The land surrounding it is almost completely filled with crops that are grown all year around. Not many people live in the village - only around two-hundred. All the houses are built out of wood with thatched roofs. The village has no defenses against abominations or horrors except a small military outpost with about 10 men. However, this village is a popular spot for traveling sorcerers since the people tend to be very nice to them unlike the city-goers. And because of that there is usually a sorcerer or two around to help out with defending the village if need be. Sub-board: The Hazard Gamble |

Shenmi Forest - 1 Viewing Shenmi Forest is a huge woodlands area to the north of the capital, Maetossa. The trees are almost all around one-hundred feet tall. No matter what season it is the leafs never fall from the trees in this forest. The bark of the trees tend to be more gray than brown in nature and some are even a bit green. At night the entire forest floor becomes illuminated by exotic flowers which only bloom at night. This causes the whole forest floor to glow a bright blue or purple - depending on where in the forest you are. When in this forest, all magick seems to be stronger. Especially when you get closer to the center of it. What could possible be in the center of the forest? Sub-board: Stralende Cave |

Leeas Lake Leeas Lake was named after the family of royalty - the Leeas family. It's just your standard lake surrounded by trees and meadows of flowers. Possibly the most beautiful place in Maetossa. The abominations and horrors love to come here to try and corrupt the land and to devour the people who just wish to enjoy the scenery, but there is always somebody there to protect the lake. Whether it's a sorcerer or a regiment of the military - it's always defended. No one - not even the king - wants this lake to lose it's beauty. |

The Stygian Stretch - 1 Viewing The Stygian Stretch is just one long black expanse of land. There used to be grass, trees, and other things here but now it's all just death. What used to be a lush green grass is now a black burnt-looking dirt. What used to be trees are now just occasional dead tree stumps in the ground. This land is proof of what the evils known as abominations and horrors are capable of. |

The Maetossa Coastline - 1 Viewing Right now, the region of Maetossa is an island. When it broke off from the mainland during the arrival of Artcz it began drifting away. So, because of this, Maetossa is surrounded by water. The north, west, and south sides of the region are all sea-level and have become sandy over the last couple hundred of years. The east coast is home to what used to be huge mountains that used to reach into the rest of the mainland. Because of this the whole east coast is several hundred feet above sea-level. What used to be mountains are now like cliffs overlooking the ocean. Sub-board: Victis |

The Resheniya Plains Despite not being close to Resheniya itself - the 100 miles surrounding the old capital city has been nicknamed the "Resheniya Plains". Nobody has gotten within 50 miles of the city and made it back alive - even groups of powerful sorcerers. To the east and north are mountains, to the west is a small forest. Everything else is just scorched earth that may never recover from the legendary beast that destroyed the land so many years ago. So, why do people have trouble getting close to the city? Well, because this whole area is practically a breeding ground for abominations and horrors. |
